The 13th edition of Indian Premier League has came to an end and it was so much fun to watch each and every match of this season. It was totally different from all editions of Indian Premier League as there were no crowd in the stadium due to this ongoing pandemic, but the management of the tournament did not let the level of joy and entertainment of the IPL fall down from the heart of virtual audience. They created a fake crowd cheer and kept the virtual audience of IPL entertained otherwise it would have felt like a test match.
This season of Indian Premier League broke many records whether in terms of viewership or in gameplay.
People witnessed 2 super overs in a single match and only one team was officially qualified for the playoffs untill the last two match of the group stage. This season of IPL was full of super thrill matches.
After the last match of the IPL 2020, the all 4 playoff qualified teams were anounced.
First Qualifier was between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals, where Mumbai Indians gave a huge target of 201. Delhi lost it's top order early in the game and could not chase the target, Mumbai won the match one sidedly and qualified for the finals directly.
The First eleminator was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore, where Royals scored a low total of 132. Hyderabad lost their top order batsman and RCB was making a comeback in the match but Williamson took over the charge and won the game for his team.
SRH went to the second Eliminators which was against Delhi Capitals. In the 2nd eliminator Delhi won the match and made to the finals for the first time in the history of IPL.
The Finals of IPL 2020 was between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. Mumbain Indians chased the target of 156 in 18.4 overs and won their 5th IPL title.
Last year, BCCI distributed the total prize money of 45 crores among the playoffs qualified teams of IPL. The winners and runners up of the tournament got the total prize money of 20 and 12.5 crores respectively and 3rd and 4th position holder of the table got 6.25 crores each. Before the start of IPL there was rumours that the prize money of IPL 2020 will be less than what it was last year due to economic crysis, but BCCI followed the same trend of prize money as last year.
The batsman and captain of the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) Lokesh Rahul was on a roll this season of IPL. He was consistent and confident about his game throughout the season and consistently scoring runs for his team. He was the captain and was leading the side from front.
KL Rahul is a class batsman and he showed his pure class in the IPL this season.
He is consistent over the years and he scored 500 plus runs in each season of IPL since 2018.
In this season, he scored a total of 670 runs including a century and 5 half centuries. Although his team finished at 6th position on the table but the captain of the team KL Rahul finished his season as the topper of the batting chart.
He was awarded the ORANGE CAP for the IPL 2020 and a cheque of Rs 10 laks.
The world's two of the world class bowlers Rabada and Bumrah, who were the top contenders of Purple Cap this season.
Rabada was the key bowler of the Delhi Capitals and so is Bumrah.
Both are the best in their business and both of their teams met on the final battle.
In the finals bumrah could not get any wickets and Rabada was already ahead of him in terms of number of wickets.
Rabada took total of 30 wickets in 17 games and took away the Purple Cap.

It was a dream debut season of IPL for Devdutt Padikkal. He was on a roll from the start of the IPL 2020.
He was bought by Royale Challengers Bangalore in 2018 auction. He did not get to play in the 2019 IPL, warmed the benches for the whole season of IPL 2019. He was looking good in the Karnataka Premier League and in domestic tournament and made debut in IPL 2020.
In his debut match in IPL 2020 against Sunrisers Hyderabad scored a brilliant half century (56 runs in 42 balls).
He got the opportunity to open the innings for Royal Challengers Bangalore, he grabbed this opportunity with both the hands and scored a total of 473 runs in 15 matches with an average of 31.53 including 5 half centuries.

Jofra Archer named as the most valuable player of the season. He is the key player for his team Rajasthan Royals.
He was phenomenal in this season of IPL, took wickets while team needed the most and grabbed some outstanding catches on the field.
He performed for his team not only with ball but gave some great support in finishing the innings down the order and his presence made one of the best tailenders. He was outstanding with the ball and bat as well and contributed in every aspects.

Kieron Pollard is one of the oldest player of Mumbai Indians, he did best with ball as well as bat in the game for his team.
He led the side for couple of times in the absence of Rohit Sharma and did great with his Captaincy. He led the team this season also when Rohit Sharma was injured and was not the part of playing eleven.
He was phenomenal this season in every aspects, he was leading the side, bowling some crucial overs and scored some brilliant knocks in the crucial matches. His experience helped the team a lot and contributed his team in every aspects of the game. He scored 268 runs with an average of 53.60 and took 4 wickets.
He was awarded with the Super Striker Of The Season with a cheque of ₹10 lacks.
The consistency and brilliant knocks of KL Rahul made him the Game Changer Of The Season.
He scored a total of 670 runs with an average of 55.83 including a century and 5 half centuries.
Although his team could not make to the playoffs but KL Rahul and the team was on streak of winning after the 7th match of the group stage.
He was awarded Dream 11 Game Changer Of The Season along with Orange Cap Of The Season with a cheque of ₹10 lacks for each.
Trent Boult was performing consistently for the team along with Jasprit bumrah.
He is the death over specialist and did outstanding in the last overs.
He did not let the oppositions to score in the death overs.
He took 25 wickets in 15 matches.
In the finals of IPL 2020, he destroyed the opposition's batting line up single handedly by taking 3 wickets.

Ishan Kishan was not a part of Mumbain Indians playing eleven during the initial matches of the season.

He was playing the game very aggressively and his presence made the middle order of the team very strong. He scored 516 runs with an average of 57.33 including 4 half centuries. He hit the most number of sixes in the tornament (30).
